Tuesday Morning Recap

Gentlemen,

Tuesday we continued our series on creation with a discussion of light. God created light and called it good. Jesus claimed to be the light that came into the world and gave life to all people. Just as the sun sustains physical life the Son sustains spiritual life.

We discussed the fact that light not only sustains life but provides comfort. I’m reminded of the ceramic ‘Dickens village’ ┬áhouses that I put out at Christmas. Each house contains a tiny light that illuminates its windows. When you view the village in a darkened room you are filled with a sense of warmth and peace. That is the effect of light.

Tomorrow we will discuss Genesis 1:20-25. Consider the following questions:

1) What does this passage add to your understanding of God?

2) What does this passage add to your understanding of God’s provision for us?

See you in the morning.

John
