Tonight we begin a new series based on Chris Cook’s Paintings. Each week we will discuss a painting and the biblical text that inspired Chris. This will be a great series and I encourage you to invite a friend.

Tonight’s painting will be of Jesus coming to John to be baptized. Our text will be John 1:19-34.

Tomorrow we will discuss Mark 5:1-20. This passage involves Jesus healing of the demon posed man. There are many points for discussion in this passage and I’m sure we will touch on all tomorrow morning. I would like focus on the response of the man and the town to this healing. We can learn much about what Jesus expects of those who follow Him.
